With an owner this discerning, DLBA Naval Architects had our challenges laid out for us to build a Gameboat as close to perfection as we could get. DLBA collaborated with the Bayliss team on the design and styling of this Bayliss 62 Gameboat and rumor has it that John Bayliss was overheard saying after the initial sea trials “this boat is an absolute stud”.
Having completed several designs for this builder, and now arguably perhaps the industry’s most discerning owner, the DLBA team knew the hull needed to be right. Equipped with twin MTU 12V2000 engines and a refined DLBA hull form, the result is truly a lean, mean, fishing machine! We hear the boat recently tickled 50 knots and is placing well in the summer tournament series. Congrats to John and the rest of the Bayliss crew!
