Sea Force CC: A New Collaboration

OCTOBER 24, 2020

As the U.S. continues to rollout reopening protocols after the pandemic shutdowns, DLBA and Sea Force are joining together on a project that speaks of innovation and new beginnings.  Sea Force envisions 5 new outboard powered center console boats with yacht-style finishes.  The new Sea Force CC boats will range in size from 35’ (11m) to 55’ (17m).

This is a new direction for Sea Force, with their reputation in the large sportfishing yacht world.  For Sea Force CC, they will be bringing the luxury of these larger boats to exciting, solidly built performance packages, which is where DLBA comes into the picture.  Sea Force’s vision fits solidly into DLBA’s expertise wheelhouse – high-power and high-performance hulls.

The engines of the new Sea Force CC boats will have power ranging from 350 hp (261 kw) and up.   Speeds from the mid 50’s mph all the way to 70+ mph are expected (48 – 61 knots).  The first of these boats, the 410, will have outboard options from triples to quads while the larger models will have options including up to 5 outboards.  Wanting nothing, but the latest and greatest in engines, Sea Force and DLBA have also set themselves the unique challenge to design all Sea Force CC craft to accommodate new, yet to be released, engine models with power levels greater than what those manufacturers currently offer.

Beyond the planned open deck, Sea Force is planning some unique, and exciting deck features. Surprises are always interesting – details will be revealed at a later date.  Stay tuned!
