This month started with a bang for DLBA Naval Architects at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show with three new products debuted, and two receiving best in show awards.
For wind farm workboat operations, various designs of vessels and propulsion system are used for different kind of missions, such as crew transfer, material transport, fuelling, survey and security handling. Vessels can be of SWATH design, catamaran design with symmetrical or asymmetrical hulls, mono hulls and trimarans.
DLBA was proud to host its first webinar in the interests of opening up dialogue between industry peers and furthering knowledge.
Annually, WorkBoat Magazine announces its shortlist of 10 nominees for Significant Boat of the Year. From that list, the Boat of the Year is chosen and announced at the International WorkBoat Show in December, and for the first time, DLBA has two boats included on the list.
The DLBA team has thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many of you throughout the show season, most recently at the very successful Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. For our next stop we are heading to METSTRADE in Amsterdam later this month, where Director Jeffrey Bowles will be onsite and taking part in the Global Superyacht Forum.
