Carbon Marine’s ultra-modern classic 240

Her lines might be all classic but the technology integrated in the Carbon Marine’s 240 make the platform extra contemporary. We’ve been happy to support this young Canadian builder which develops bespoke products for customers with a need for speed.

The company builds composite products from carbon fiber and Kevlar using advanced production techniques for an end result which displays exceptional stiffness with minimum weight. Gasoline power plants, including both outboards and sterndrives, are used in their boats to power them to speeds approaching 90 mph. Hand-assembled products ensure the customer’s specifications are met to an exacting standard which makes the builder a favorite with superyachts for their tenders. DLBA has led the deck styling, structural design and propulsion system integration for the 240 Classic Sport, with final design touches provided by Carbon Marine and Designova.
