Meet us at the
International Workboat Show

NOVEMBER 17, 2021

The International Workboat Show is set for Wednesday, December 1st – Friday, December 3rd in New Orleans with an estimated 1,000 exhibitors ready to get back to business in person. DLBA is excited to be there with other attendees and exhibitors in this amazing southern state. The pandemic has impacted the Workboat community in various ways: shutting down passenger boats and cutting the needs of fishing vessels because of restaurant closures costing them sales, while other parts of the industry have kept chugging along. Either way, we have seen resiliency in our customers as they continue to move forward. This year, the Workboat Show will be a chance for us to get together, talk boats, and celebrate what we have been able to accomplish in spite of the challenges.

DLBA, led by our Director of Workboats, Jonathan Soja, has been busy this year completing our biggest incline in our history on the dredge Baltimore with Norfolk Dredging. Check out our video here. We’ve also completed the design of a 40ft buoy tender for Silverships to build for the USACE, and supported the modernization of a series of ferries for Haig Point Transportation out of Daufuskie Island, South Carolina.  If you want to swing by to discuss new or old projects, DLBA will be at booth #3309, ready to offer our services and a friendly face.
