This year’s edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) was a particularly successful show for DLBA. Three new DLBA designs were on display; the Aviara 36, Lexus 650 and Marquis 420.
Every now and then, we’ll hear of a yacht which has hit a patch of bad luck in its life cycle. For 47-meter (154 foot) Cherosa, her story began with her build in 1999 at Swiftships for an owner new to the yachting world.
Ocean Alexander’s Divergence is no typical 45′ center console fishing vessel. We supported the builder and designer Evan K. Marshall with engineering items on this one-of-a-kind project and the result is truly a standout.
Two new Horizon RP110 yachts were launched to acclaim this year and we’re proud to say this proven DLBA yacht design has more hulls on the water than any other DLBA yacht design since the initial vessel in 2008.
With an owner this discerning, DLBA Naval Architects had our challenges laid out for us to build a Gameboat as close to perfection as we could get. DLBA collaborated with the Bayliss team on the design and styling of this Bayliss 62 Gameboat and rumor has it that John Bayliss was overheard saying after the initial sea trials “this boat is an absolute stud”.
Her lines might be all classic but the technology integrated in the Carbon Marine’s 240 make the platform extra contemporary. We’ve been happy to support this young Canadian builder which develops bespoke products for customers with a need for speed.
This brand new production is the first in a new product line by Marquis and will make her debut at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
