At DLBA we strive to develop safe, comfortable and efficient marine vessels through the application of science and technology. Science and Technology (S&T) involves pushing the technology envelope to generate breakthroughs in engineering disciplines. Research and development (R&D) is focused more on generating an end product that may owe its origins to proven science and technology. Our team of technical experts has a wide portfolio of projects creating novel, low-risk solutions for tomorrow’s vessels.

BUILDING ON THE PAST AND EXPLORING THE FUTURE
DLBA’s experience in tackling difficult challenges has developed unique capabilities for solving the hard problems. We develop and participate in R&D programs based on proven S&T. We are familiar with both analytical and experimental approaches, and over time have developed and published numerous design procedures and empirical equations to advance the marine industry.
DLBA possesses the skills and experience to lead or support R&D programs. In these efforts we often work with outside consultants. Our association with other experts in the fields of hydrodynamics, aerodynamics, acoustics, and design/styling enables us to assemble the right team to achieve project goals with minimal risk.
