Nick Stinson
DLBA Naval Architects – Naval Architect

Nick Stinson found a love of the water through small boats and jet skis on an inland lake in Virginia. This passion led Nick to pursue a BS in Ocean (and Aerospace) Engineering at Virginia Tech followed by a MS in Ocean Engineering with a Naval focus. After having opportunities to work in a shipyard, the oil and gas industry, and with small unmanned submarines, Nick finally got the opportunity to enter the recreational production boat world. Since then, Nick has helped to take numerous designs from concept to reality ranging from 15’ center consoles and bow riders to 150’ specialty craft.  While at DLBA Nick, has honed-in his technical skills related to structure, stability, performance, and compliance for small vessels.
